Your brand should have a mix of both short-term and long-term sales and marketing strategies. Something like online ads would be a short term strategy because it should drive immediate sales but doesn’t really build brand loyalty (you can do that after with a follow-up sequence).

So what are some ways to drive sales long term?

🌟 Building Your Personal Brand

I’m a big fan of this one particularly since audiences are generally looking to connect with people rather than a faceless brand. Building a personal brand means showing up on LinkedIn, possibly showing up on a podcast or speaking at an event, or being featured in media. It’s a new way to connect with audiences at a different touch point by introducing the brand through you. You also generally get more depth and time for storytelling when building a personal brand.

🌟 Create A Lead Magnet

A lead magnet might be something like a pdf of recipes for gut health. It’s something of value that people get and will use regularly while getting them into your funnel. It can take some time to create in addition to the landing page and welcome email sequence but once it’s done you can promote the freebie on social media or use it to promote through partnerships.

🌟 Focus Groups And Research

This is the least obvious one to drive sales but it should be hitting two points. It should help you make more effective marketing and improve your product. But you can also build relationships through your research. You can involve your audience in the process making them feel empowered and invested.
